01What to look for in the photograph.
Teal covers the sides, with orange concentrated along the belly. The group photograph also shows how the warmer underside becomes more visible when a body turns away from a straight side view.
Compare it with Bullhead Minnow if you are choosing between two cool-colored sides. The placement of the warm accent—not just the overall brightness—is a useful visual difference.
These are visual notes on the supplied product photographs, reviewed November 4, 2026—not a field-test result. Light and viewing angle affect the apparent color.
02From reference to finish.
The warm lower flash is deliberately narrow, preserving the fish's cool-to-warm transition on one clean minnow body.
The result is an interpretation, not a biological replica. It keeps the memory of the Texas fish while respecting the proportions and restraint of the RIVAS body.
03A finish to follow before release.
RIVAS is planned for freshwater and saltwater use, with an official BKK Fangs-62 UA #8 hook listing and stock intended to ship from the United States. Owner-reported specifications are slow floating, 3/8 oz (approximately 10.6 g converted), and a maximum diving depth of 1.2 m; the maximum is not guaranteed for every setup or retrieve. Release timing remains unannounced.
