Broad, soft-edged bars cross a tan-gold side. Pale areas between the bars and the lighter belly keep the photograph less uniformly dark than the black-gold banded finish.
Compare it directly with Banded Pygmy Sunfish to inspect the strength and spacing of the bands. This is a pattern comparison, not a recommendation for a particular water clarity.

The bars are edited for the RIVAS profile so they remain a rhythm of shade rather than a literal fish illustration.
The result is an interpretation, not a biological replica. It keeps the memory of the Texas fish while respecting the proportions and restraint of the RIVAS body.
03A finish to follow before release.
RIVAS is planned for freshwater and saltwater use, with an official BKK Fangs-62 UA #8 hook listing and stock intended to ship from the United States. Owner-reported specifications are slow floating, 3/8 oz (approximately 10.6 g converted), and a maximum diving depth of 1.2 m; the maximum is not guaranteed for every setup or retrieve. Release timing remains unannounced.
