Hard-bait care checklist

  1. Rinse after use.

    Use fresh water to remove salt and surface dirt.

  2. Let the lure dry.

    Allow the body, hooks and hardware to dry completely before storage.

  3. Dry the box, too.

    If rain or spray enters your tackle tray, empty it and let it dry before returning the lures.

  4. Inspect before the next trip.

    Check the body, hooks and hardware for damage or wear. Replace damaged components with suitable parts before fishing.

  5. Store clean and dry.

    Keep your tackle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
